What type of career best suits your personality type?  Do you like being organized or love to go with the flow?

Understanding your personality type is a real benefit when deciding what career is best for you.

A great way to dig into what makes you tick’ is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test (a.k.a., MBTI).     MBTI, as noted on Wikipedia, is a personality indicator designed to assist individuals to identify their significant personal preferences.  I found a free’ test online at a great site called CareerNet.

There are numerous other sites where you can take the test — some are fee based and profess to provide more inclusive data — so, you can decide which is best for you.  Another informative site is MBTI Complete

So, whether you want to discover your strengths or find out how to interface more effectively with your co-workers, managers or family — give MBTI a try and take a look at what really drives you.  There is also a great book called Do What You Are, which can provide you with more insight into your type and how you operate.

I’m an ENFP — what are you?  Report back and let’s here what you are.
