So many of us have difficulty managing our work/life balance.  Whenever I think of the term work/life balance it brings up visions of a teeter-totter smoothly flowing back and forth, but in reality it is more often wildly out of control, slamming into the ground on one side and way’ to high in the air on the other.  So, you end up either suffering from a concussion or queasy from altitude sickness. Anyone know what I’m talking about here? In his blog post, “Getting Control of Your Hours” Stephen Seckler, Esq. provides five very sensible ways to approach getting a handle on your schedule and ways to go about choosing a career that doesn’t take up your entire life.  Even though the blog is focused around the attorney profession, it still has some very sensible suggestions that can work in most any career arena.  Check it out… And, if you’re unsure whether you’ve got work/life balance or not (I’d say if you’re unsure there is a good chance you’re out of balance) check out this post on QuintCareers and take the work/life balance quiz.  Good luck!
