Over 3 months ago I discovered Sean Aiken’s new adventure One Week Job. It sounded like a fun idea (and I always like those…) so I communicated with him to share my support and wish him luck.
Now, just a few months later he has taken his successful adventure in finding his passion to the next step - an Internet TV show based on his search for a career that will fulfill his passion. Not only is Sean getting a wealth of experience in his life, but in seeking his passion he is most likely smack dab in the middle of it. Like so many of us who believe we don’t know our “Purpose” and need to find it - our purpose truly is more of a guide or compass than an actual destination.
I’m sure Sean had no idea that his adventure would be such a hit, not only with himself, but also the world (lots of media attention on this) and would be able to give so much back to society (his earnings are donated to poverty). And who knows where else this road may lead Sean - books, documentaries, coaching, speaking, training seminars… who knows. But, this is a great example that you can follow your heart and be successful. You can take a leap and have some fun - truly Dig What You Do!
Check out Sean’s site and video’s on his adventure.
